Food Service and Management Courses
As part of the Food Service and Management courses, students apply their learnings through different activities such as special functions and mocktail parties. The Food Service Field Practicum also provides the students exposure on organization and management, supervision, quantity menu planning and food purchasing, receiving, storing and issuing food, quantity food production and preparation, styles of food service and cost control.
Nutritional Sciences Courses
Students conduct nutrition screening and education, patient counseling, planning, preparation, and service of therapeutic diets in different nutritional sciences courses and Hospital Dietetics Field Practicum.
Community Nutrition Courses
Community Nutrition courses equip students with necessary technical and social skills in community mobilization through various activities such as nutrition education and promotion. Students are also involved in planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of nutrition and nutrition-related development programs and projects during their Community Nutrition Field Practicum.
