The STP-UPLB is a duly-recognized socio-civic development-oriented student organization from the University of the Philippines Los Baños. Driven by its motto, Transfer Knowledge and Serve the People, the organization’s objectives include the empowerment of the disadvantaged sectors of the community, enhancement of the capabilities of STP-UPLB as a development-oriented student organization, and promotion of camaraderie among its members, without forgoing academic excellence. Furthermore, the organization believes that the use of the concepts of Social Technology will catalyze the success of its objectives.​
