The UPLB College of Public Affairs and Development invited the IHNF Nutrition and Wellness Clinic for nutrition screening and a series of short lectures attended by their faculty, staff, and REPS. This is part of CPAf’s commitment to promoting a healthy work environment.
The morning session started with Asst. Prof. Aiza Kris Bernardo’s introduction of the IHNF Nutrition and Wellness Clinic. This was followed by a presentation by Asst. Prof. Pamela Aclan on healthy and mindful eating habits. Lastly, Mr. Justin Landicho delivered a lecture on exercise and fitness that can be done even at the workplace.
The afternoon nutrition screening session catered to 53 CPAf constituents. Anthropometric measurements, body fat analysis, and simple nutrition messages were provided by the team composed of Ms. Rose Aviegael Dichosa, (Project Leader of IHNF Nutrition and Wellness Clinic), Asst. Prof. Mariele Siladan (Assistant Project Leader), Dr. Ma. Theresa Talavera, Asst. Prof. Pamela Aclan, Mr. Justin Landicho, and Asst. Prof. Jailah Bamba.
